Driven by my belief in the power of grassroots organizing, I spent the early part of my career as an IRL organizer working on abortion access for an interfaith organization. Then, I moved to a gig at a software company where I got a front-row seat helping nonprofits raise money online. My clients included internationally-focused relief and aid groups, local and regional food banks, and DC-based advocacy orgs. With everything I’d learned and the incredible network of changemakers I built, I took the leap into independent consulting — working with clients like Salesforce, Sefaria, and The Nature Conservancy to drive awareness and action.
With every client, I started to hear the same problem. They had an overflowing project list that was more diverse in goals and in focus than the team was able to manage on their own. My clients kept coming back for more, and more, and more work — so I started convening brilliant colleagues and tailoring teams of specialists for every client project that came my way — and in November 2018, Greater Good Strategy was born.
I believe that two (or sometimes three or four) minds are greater than one, and that most problems can be solved with good people, the right technology, and a creative strategy. I was inspired to develop a collaborative consulting agency model that allows us to identify expertise, pull in the right people for the project, create process efficiencies, and, most importantly, produce more effective work for our clients.
When dreaming up the company I’m now proud to run, there were a few non-negotiables — we’d be proudly women-led, we’d wear our politics on our sleeves, and we’d be personally invested in the success of our clients.
Since 2018, we’ve grown from a team of four consultants to more than 60 digital marketing and fundraising experts ready to help good-for-the-world brands and organizations take their digital strategy from good to greater. Our team specializes in research, fundraising strategy, content creation, project management, graphic design, digital analysis, and more.
I could not be more proud of how far we’ve come — and believe we’re just getting started. Let’s get to work.
