Senior Strategist
she/her/hers they/them/theirs

Shelly Nelson-Shore (she/they) is a storyteller, strategist, fundraiser, and content creator with almost a decade of experience working creatively with nonprofits and individuals to help them achieve their goals. A firm believer in the power of good data and even better stories, Shelly supports her clients in creating campaigns and materials that are simultaneously strategic and open-hearted, focused on building community and driving engagement.

Shelly holds a BA from Brandeis University in Sociology, Creative Writing, and Women’s & Gender Studies, as well as a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maine. She has worked with nonprofits in the Jewish, reproductive justice, child advocacy, education, and service fields, as well as with individual writers, artists, creatives, and organizers looking to expand their reach and make a bigger impact. She focuses on creating strategies and tactics that meet clients where they are and guide them towards where they want to be, taking an individualized approach that runs on compassionate listening, strong relationships, and good-humored flexibility.

In her free time, Shelly reads a truly alarming number of books (and writes the occasional review), single-handedly sustains their local coffee industry, and attempts to wrangle two large dogs and two small children.
