Nyaka is passionate about harnessing data, technology, behavioral science, and pop-culture to craft persuasive messages, conceive creative campaigns, and tell compelling stories that educate, mobilize, and activate audiences. Ms. Mwanza credits her 20-year career success to the syzygy of her a) analytical, data-driven approach, b) social-science training, and c) multi-media fluency.
Nyaka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts Media (film & photography) from American University and is pursuing a Master’s of Arts in marketing and health communications at The Johns Hopkins University. When not ferrying her 14-year-old club volleyballer to and from practice and tournaments, Nyaka indulges her lust for media in all forms — from science journals to reality TV — usually flanked by her clingy ShiTzu-poodle, Edwina.
